A Dayton-based martial arts school celebrates their 41st year anniversary in the Miami Valley area helping children and adults build their self-esteem through martial arts training and self-defense. Grandmaster Taningco emphasizes the martial arts family atmosphere teaching core values and life skills to his students from 4 years of age up to over 80 years old. Inducted in the World Of Martial Arts Hall Of Fame, Martial Arts Excellence Award from USMarines (from Quantico, Virginia headquarter) and 3-time recipient award given by legendary Chuck Norris of UFAF. Former USKA World Champion Grandmaster Taningco is still very active teaching after 41 years of teaching martial arts serving the communities of Dayton, Kettering, Oakwood, Beavercreek, Centerville, Washington Township, Bellbrook, Springboro, Riverside, Huber Heights, Miamisburg, West Carrollton, Trotwood, Englewood and other surrounding suburbs. Taningco founded TAMA, an acronym for Taningco Academy of Martial Arts since 1976. He builds the largest modern martial arts facility from the ground up in 1988 of about 10,000 square feet of training space. The largest martial arts building of each kind in Midwest area. TAMA Martial Arts Center offers 8 different martial arts discipline. There are Kempo Karate-Jujitsu, Aikijutsu, Tai-chi (internal arts), Tien Shan Pai Kung-Fu, Filipino Kali-Eskrima/JKD, ISD-KravMaga, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
