Taking your PALS certification online offers you flexibility and convenience that cannot be matched by an on-site program. You’ll have the ability to study on the schedule and at the pace that works for you, and most students finish in just a few hours.

With this PALS certification course, you’ll have unlimited access to the course until you successfully pass the final exam, with unlimited practice exams and free final exam retakes. Our goal is to provide you the material and tools you need to be successful and earn your certification.

Nationally Accredited

Our PALS certification course is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) and in joint partnership with the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine. This means that we’ve got you covered whether you’re a

You can have your provider card the same day you pass the exam! A digital, printable copy of your provider card will be available as soon as you pass the certification exam unless you have elected to complete the skills evaluation. Students who choose to complete the skills evaluation will have access to their digital, printable card within 1 business day of when we receive the forms stating they successfully passed off the skills.

Regardless of whether you complete a skills evaluation or not, your printed provider card will be mailed out (free of charge) within 2-3 business days of when your digital card was issued. You can choose to have this sent by priority mail for faster delivery for an additional fee.


The PALS certification course is built upon the latest ECC guidelines as published by the AHA and determined in conjunction with the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). Our course is also written and developed by experts in emergency medicine who sit on our Medical Advisory Board.

Upon completion of the PALS certification course you will know how to manage and respond to nearly all cardiopulmonary emergencies. Upon completion of this training you will be able to:

  • Describe the timely recognition and interventions required to prevent respiratory and cardiac arrest in any pediatric patient.
  • Describe the systematic approach to pediatric assessment by using the initial impression, primary and secondary assessments, and diagnostic tests.
  • Describe priorities and specific interventions for infants and children with respiratory and/or circulatory emergencies.
  • Explain the importance of effective team dynamics, including individual roles and responsibilities, during a pediatric resuscitation.
  • Describe the key elements of post-resuscitation management
  • Perform effective high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when appropriate.
  • Perform effective respiratory management within your scope of practice.
  • Select and apply appropriate cardiorespiratory monitoring.
  • Select and administer the appropriate medications and electrical therapies when presented with an arrhythmia scenario.
  • Establish rapid capsular access to administer fluid and medications.
  • Demonstrate effective communications and team dynamics both as a team member and as a team leader.
